Wonderfull turnout at the Prince Street Gallery group exhibition in Chelsea of which I was a part. There were some great works there and the gallery owners were very kind and generous. I had wine and cheese and took my mom.
I had 2 of my minimalist, expressionist paintings in the Creature Show at the LIC Arts Open Gallery They had quite assortment of creatures there and cans of Budweiser which I quite enjoyed.
Feature in the Brooklyn-based Creative Bloch Magazine and gallery
I was asked to participate in The Dogs & Cats Art Auction of New York to Benefit NYC's Homeless Animals. A unique exhibit that featured twelve cast-stone dog and cat statues, hand-painted by local artists.
The theme of my work “Oreo” focuses on a notorious case of animal cruelty in New York City
I created this work in memory of Oreo and as a statement against animal cruelty. The flesh of the statue with its grimacing faces and twisting lines, reveal the madness and pain of a tortured soul. The form, in sharp contrast, stands noble and proud.
My work featured in Catapult Magazine along with some other very talented artists. Thanks for the spread guys.
